Mom_AboutYOGA has been a great blessing in my life and it is such a pleasure to share this as a teacher. Yoga means union, uniting all our fragmented little selves….this unity creates harmony, health and WHOLENESS. I invite you to experience this wholeness.

I teach Yoga in a way that heals the body and develops attention so that our practice becomes a meditation in motion. We first release tensions from the bodymind and then allow the poses to unfold from the inside out, with an awareness of the spine : the structural, energetic and neurological core of the body. This allows us to work with lightness and ease and avoids the injuries so common in more fitness oriented Yoga styles.

This Yoga has been inspired by my studies with many wonderful teachers and I bow to them with deep gratitude.

I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hrs level with Yoga Alliance, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, a Registered Yin Yang Yoga Teacher with the Yin Yoga Institute, a Yoga and Ayurveda Health Educator with the American Institute of Vedic Studies, an Acupressure Practitioner with the Acupressure Institute of America, a Certified Qigong Instructor with the Qigong and Daoist Training Center, a Unified Mindfulness Facilitator and a Zen Buddhist.

I believe that a good teacher always remains a student and I take time off each winter to recharge, continue my studies and meditate. It is from this nourishing personal practice that I teach.

I offer a 10 month teaching schedule and welcome beginner, intermediate, advanced students to weekly classes, private consultations and  teacher trainings.
